The Youth Leadership Forum is designed for young adults with disabilities to learn from successful leaders and role models. Participants gain knowledge about their own and others' disabilities, develop self-determination skills, and learn about leadership styles, disability laws, and the legislative process. The forum equips students with the tools to achieve their post-secondary goals in education, employment, and independent living; All while having fun and making lifelong friends!

MRA KC Holiday Party - December 20, 3-5 pm

Ho, ho, ho, MRA KC Members! It's time for our annual holiday party! This year's party will be a happy hour of sorts. The Chapter will provide appetizers. Attendees must purchase their own beverages. The party will be at the Amerisports Brew Pub inside Ameristar Casino. 3200 N Ameristar Dr. There is tons of outdoor parking, as well as a free parking garage. Parking, the facility, and the pub are accessible. Anyone who desires to may participate in a fun, optional, gift exchange. Bring a wrapped gift (suitable for all genders) with a value of $10 or less. Note: We will have a SHORT business meeting. There will be no meeting on December 27
