Building Career Confidence Through Agilities

In alignment with the theme We Are All In This Together, this session presented by The DeBruce Foundation will introduce K-12 Educator Resources and the Agilities framework as tools to help individuals build confidence, identify their work skills, and connect those skills to meaningful career pathways. Participants will learn how Agilities helps people, including students, adult learners, and individuals with disabilities, recognize their strengths through a common language that empowers them to engage more fully in career planning, job development, and employment conversations. This approach supports rehabilitation professionals in fostering inclusion, belonging, and upward mobility for those they serve, aligning closely with the mission of the Missouri Rehabilitation Association.

This interactive session will actively engage attendees through guided reflection, small group discussion, and a live demonstration of the Agile Work Profiler and educator tools. Participants will experience how these free resources can be used to strengthen student confidence, support career exploration, and improve employment outcomes. Attendees will leave with practical strategies and ready-to-use resources that can be integrated into counseling, job coaching, and classroom settings to help individuals see their potential and take meaningful next steps toward work.

Learning Objectives

  1. Participants will be able to explain the Agilities framework and how it helps individuals identify and articulate their work skills to support career confidence and employment success.

  2. Participants will learn how to apply K-12 Educator Resources and the Agile Work Profile in rehabilitation, education, and workforce settings to support career exploration and job development.
